Helping Kansas Homeowners, Businesses & Utilities Adopt Efficient Solar Energy

Flint Hills Renewable Energy & Efficiency Cooperative (FHREEC) is a non-profit solar electric buyers group that works with both Kansas homeowners and businesses to help lower utility bills, gain a level of independence from the grid, or do their part in facing climate change using solar power.

We work to introduce energy professionals, non-profit, rural electric cooperatives, and municipal utilities to the unrecognized benefits of distributed or “rooftop” solar energy. In addition, we offer hardware research and advice on installing solar arrays.
